Warm dim lights

Empty chairs

Hissing brewing machine

Jazzy tunes

Soft murmurs

The refined smell of roasted beans

The lingering bitter taste on the tongue

Thoroughly gazing

Compounding words

Expressing feelings

Writing them down

I am here

Reminiscing

Pondering

That one particular rainy night

When we exchanged our thoughts, beliefs, ideas

With a tiny pinch of feelings involved

Oblivious to the passing of time

Twenty-one months ago

Which lead us

To where we are today

It feels remarkably good to be back

Gathering all the feelings

That i have left behind

I pick them up with all of my senses

Diffusing them in

I just want you to know

Your dearest presence

Is what i pine for

At this moment in time

xx,
