Since most of you have given me a positive feedback (so far) in my previous post, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all of you readers who have spent your precious time to read, reposted, commented and liked it. I’ve always love to share things I’ve learned in which I found very interesting and beneficial for people to know.

Now that you know how contagious your mind can be, you might be thinking how to keep those positivity flow freely in your bloodstream. I know, most of you will think it’s impossible to ALWAYS think positive and stay positive, but should you know that by thinking that way, you’re actually infusing the negative thoughts into your subconscious. Tricky huh? Allow me to share what I’ve learned in another workshop session I attended which I think it is a very worthy to share and important for you to know.

We can’t deny the fact that our life is moving like a high-speed rollercoaster. Sometimes we feel we’re up in the air, defying gravity, as if nothing can bring us down. Sometimes we feel an abrupt turn, twist and downward motions speeded up as if it will never come to a full stop. I can guarantee you that this happens to everyone. All of us went through this. Some sooner, some later. Then why some people seemed to be very happy and bubbly all the time? Keep reading.

It’s easy for us to say “I am positive about this” when we are in a favorable situation. We tend to be so positive, full of hopes, dreams, motivation and energy when we feel like everything is okay. However when things are pretty bad, our mind is fogged with negativities which makes it more impossible to look at the bright side, let alone staying positive. I know we have all tried to think positive, look at the bright side as well as knowing that negativity is toxic. But in that kind of situation, thinking the positive way feels like out of reach. I’m not saying that what you’ve tried and done are wrong, because it’s normal. However, there are some ways for you to enjoy the rollercoaster ride even though a sharp turn, twist, corkscrew tracks abruptly comes your way. Because hey, as long as you keep your seatbelt fasted on, you will not fall, you just got to enjoy the thrilling ride.

Nothing has ever come to a full stop.

Take a moment and look around you. Have you ever thought the things that is motionless and not giving any sign of ‘life’ is actually processing? Look at the light bulb in any lamps you see for example, have you ever thought that their brightness will decreases by time? Have you ever thought that one day there’ll be a time for them to be replaced by another bulb?. Think about it. Everything is in process. Every single thing in this planet is in the middle of their life process. Everything takes time and it’s never come to a complete stop unless they died. I am telling you my friend that you ought to believe that process is what we’ll faced throughout life. In which there’ll be no magic happens in a blink of an eye. Even the fastest tracks or the shortest shortcuts needs a process, am I right? Just like riding a rollercoaster, you’ll go through the process of twists and turns before you get into a full stop.

What if bad things happens? Is it a process too?

As we all know, nothing good in life comes easy. Hardships always gets in the way, mostly when we’re trying to achieve something. We are never ready for it as hardships comes in without knocking.

We can’t deny that hardships often brings us down, fogging our mind with negativity and drained our battery. We are emotionally and responsively negative. For instance: because you’re pissed about it, you tend to respond negatively such as blaming yourself/others, ashamed and even isolated yourself from others. This is also the time when labeling takes place. Some people will labeled themselves as loser, foolish, and not being able to see themselves as a worthy being anymore. But hang in there, there’s something we can do about it.

Re-defining Hardship

If everything in this planet is currently processing, so is hardship. We can definitely correct our definition of hardship! Imagine a picture of a scale where you weigh down hardship and ease. Hardship weighed much more than ease, am I right? Since hardship takes out all your energy.

Now let’s correct the scale by imagining that hardship and ease are in equal weight. They’re parallel to each other in which both of them are in line. How will you see it? Since ease have a lot of positivity in it, why not infuse positivity to hardship as well?

If you changed your perception of hardship into a positivity, there are benefits you can get. You can take it as a lesson, so you won’t fall in to the same hole afterwards. You can have a self-reflection & introspection, so you can be a better self and be prepared if hardship strikes back. You can give yourself a pat in your shoulder to confirm yourself that you are a strong being. You can upgrade your mental toughness, so you can be more resilient. You can inspire others as they can see you’re not giving up through the process of hardship. However, I’m not saying that sadness and negative emotions is not allowed in your process. It’s okay to feel sad once in awhile, but now that you know what are the benefits of having hardship, it will be much easier to turn that frown upside down!

Are you dare enough to say ‘Thank God’ when hardship gets in the way? 🙂

Re-defining Success

Another thing that limits us from having a positive thought and positive process in life is Failure. There’s no doubt we feel down in the dump when we thought we got the world on a string but it in the end we failed miserably. Everybody failed, but everybody WILL succeed. Why am I so sure about it? Because when you correct your definition of success, it will be easier for you to succeed. Success is not being able to get what you want or what you desired. The real success is when a man is positively processing. When you keep positive through all your process, you will casted out a positive energy, therefore you have succeed in being positive. Your energy will flow to where your focus is, so when you’re constantly being positive, you will celebrate every hardship you get and enjoy all the process as you believe that it is the chance for you to upgrade your quality and become a wonderful being.

I get it if this will somewhat makes you cringe or raised your eyebrow a little since this might be unfamiliar to you. It’s okay, I believe you’re processing this into your mind.

How to be consistent?

It takes process in getting used to positivity and so as consistency. Before you decide of start having positive thoughts, you need Intention to do it. This intention will support you to stay positive in your own process. The next thing is repetition. Our brain will get stronger with repetition. You need to repeat it at least 28 times to get yourself in to the next level : Habit. When you’re used to think positively in all of your life process and repeating it 28 times, you’ll get to the next level : Character. Wouldn’t it be nice if you have a positivity as your character? Imagine yourself being a source of inspiration so that you’ll spread positive energy to people around you. You don’t get to count the ’28 times’ actually, what this really means is to get yourself in repetition as much as possible. Remember that by processing all of these things is already considered as a success.

This is why Unconditional Love must not meant to be ‘loving him/her in any condition’ but ‘to look at his/her positive side constantly in the most favorable and unfavorable condition’. Does it make any sense? 🙂

Positive beliefs

Remember the beliefs that I have explained in my previous post? Staying positive will builds up those empowering beliefs. It will empower you to stay motivated and be positive to whatever you do. This will come in very handy when hardships knocks you down, because if you have the empowering beliefs you won’t let hardships get you.

We’re all in this progress together, my friend. Let’s take it all in together and start our positive journey in life!

Have a wonderful progress!

Xx,

Belle
